The 2020 pandemic demonstrated the value of local community, wellbeing and connection. People saw the places they had taken for granted in a new light. The years that followed prompted a shift in the design and use of public space.
2012 Study Tour Report

The study topic looks at the works and services perceived as being essential to creating a liveable city, according to communities. The study aims to include cities across Europe that have been highlighted in American and British studies as being among the top 10 Most Liveable Cities. These include Helsinki, Copenhagen, Munich, Vienna and Zurich.
Simon Thomas was awarded the inaugural Keith Wood Excellence Award as his report was judged by Trustees as being of exceptional quality.
