MEFV Leadership Forum and Awards Presentation

The Municipal Engineering Foundation Victoria (MEFV) provides awards to support the development of public works professionals in Victoria through the provision of opportunities to attend training courses/conferences and by awarding scholarships for national and international study tours.  To date, over 186 engineers from Victorian councils have benefited by travelling overseas on local government research programs.

On 16 August 2024 the Foundation presented a Leadership Forum and Awards Presentation event to showcase guest presenters giving their views on their personal development, leadership qualities and the benefits of MEFV awards together with the announcement of awards recipients in 2024. Guest presenters were –

Lachlan Johnson, General Manager Operations and Infrastructure, City of Port Phillip

Edward Pocock, Principal Director – Future Maintenance Services, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council
